A K Brown Refrigeration & Air conditioning Ltd. was established by A Keith Brown in 1983. Keith continues to be active in the business and remains President. Delivery of professional technical services on time with integrity has been the hallmark of our company. We have never offered bonuses or commissions to employees based on number of parts sold or sales volume. This philosophy has earned us a reputation second to none in Alberta in the HVAC & Mechanical Industry, which has allowed us to grow continuously for over two decades without a single sales call. We deliver an array of technologies, expertise and experience including Sheet Metal, Plumbing, Gas fitting, Building Automation, Custom Metal Fabrication, Welding and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Services, which allows us to provide single source solutions to customers. From new installations and design build retrofits, to routine maintenance and repair of buildings and individual systems.
People are our secret to success. All Managers (with the exception of our office manager) are Certified Interprovincial Journeymen in the specified disciples with the majority of them serving their entire apprenticeship with us. This type of expertise at the management level assures customers direct access to the person with technical knowledge, thus eliminating the traditional salesmen approach to problem solving. In fact, on numerous occasions in the past, we have been called on to provide competitive quotes for replacement equipment and systems quoted by other contractors, only to find that there was a more effective solution and that the customers’ needs were better met by correcting a chronic problem that had remained unresolved.
