A K Brown Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

Go Green

In 2007 A K Brown recycled 50 metric tons of steel, aluminum and copper, 675 liters of used oil, 2 metric tons of paper products, 1100 kgs of ozone depleting CFC’s and HCFC’s, 250 kg of electronics, 10 kgs of mercury and several hundred carbon batteries. The vast majority of this material originated from customer sites.

It took two decades of commitment to the environment to be able to accumulate these numbers on a yearly basis. We are very proud of this achievement. But there is more to do and we are committed to leading our industry in environmental conservation by both recycling waste and reducing energy consumption.

We can make your building greener by upgrading systems with energy efficient equipment that will save 20% to 50% on our precious non-renewable energy. These upgrades typically pay for themselves in one to four years and reduce your greenhouse gas emissions by up to 40%. To date, retrofits of this nature done by A K Brown, reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 600 metric tons annually. While improving indoor air quality, providing you and your tenants with greater comfort and reducing maintenance costs immediately. Join the revolution and show your commitment to our environment going green with A K Brown.
